As part of the Digital India initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, APSC has introduced its Online Recruitment portal with support from CSC-SPV, a MeitY-approved organization. CSC-SPV will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40.00 plus 18% tax, totaling Rs. 47.20, from each candidate.

APSC Stenographer Syllabus 2024
The APSC Stenographer Syllabus for 2024 evaluates candidates on several key areas. It includes General English to test language skills, General Knowledge and General Studies covering current affairs, history, and Indian polity, and Computer Knowledge focusing on MS Office and basic operations. Additionally, it assesses stenographic skills, including shorthand, transcription, and typing speed, ensuring a thorough evaluation of both general knowledge and technical abilities.
Stage I: Stenography Proficiency Test
Candidates whose applications are accepted will be called to participate in the Stenography Proficiency Test at 150 wpm in English and 120 wpm in Language (Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi) as follows:
